Suzette Nelson has been a driving force behind HealthCare Recruiters for nearly three decades, bringing deep industry experience across executive, sales, marketing, scientific, clinical, and behavioral health searches. Her relationship-first approach enables her to build teams from the ground up and partner with hiring leaders to shape clients’ strategic futures. Suzette excels at leading large-scale staffing initiatives, including building nationwide pharmaceutical teams for product launches and filling multiple behavioral health roles across state-wide networks, and she routinely constructs sales teams tailored to specific geographies or national footprints.

A native of Brighton, Michigan and a Grand Valley State Business School graduate, Suzette moved to Cary, North Carolina in the late 1990s to establish HCRI Carolinas and has led the region with energy and clarity ever since. Outside of work she enjoys visiting her children in Wisconsin, walking her dogs, golfing with her husband, creating family-favorite meals (her sushi bowls are legendary), and cheering on college football—Go Blue.
