HealthCare Recruiters International (HCRI) is currently seeking a full-time or part-time Occupational Therapist (OT, OTR/L) for a hybrid early intervention opportunity in Humboldt County, California. This role offers flexible scheduling and employer-paid housing with a private yard, making it ideal for a travel therapist or someone seeking a short- or long-term change of pace.
Join a mission-driven, accredited therapy agency providing early intervention and specialty services to support the development of children birth to age three. You will play a key role in empowering families and delivering high-quality therapy services — all while enjoying the natural beauty of Northern California’s redwood forests, beaches, and small towns.
- OT will work FT or PT, daytime hours
- OT must be Licensed in the state of CA
- OT assists with sensory awareness, motor skill development, learning, and behaviors
- OT provides evaluations such as gross motor, fine motor, social-emotional, communication, and adaptive skills
- OT will write reports, set goals, and provide direct therapy in-person and virtually
- OT provides consultations to parents, guardians, teachers, and community specialists
- OT collaborates with trans-disciplinary team to children with a variety of developmental and diagnostic indicators
- OT attends multi-disciplinary meetings on a bi-annual and annual basis
- OT will receive on-going professional support as needed
Hybrid Eureka, California Licensed Occupational Therapist, OT, OTR/L Requirements:
- Current CA license for Occupational Therapy
- Experience with diverse developmental delays and disorders in infants and toddlers
- Ability to conduct developmental evaluations
- Ability to provide tele-practice coaching
- Valid Driver’s License
Hybrid Eureka, California Licensed Occupational Therapist, OT, OTR/L Compensation:
- $80 – $98 per hour, DEO
- Annual take-home potential over 200K

- Mileage reimbursement @ $0.38 cents per mile & travel time $24.25 per hour of travel
