Our client is an exciting interactive digital health startup company of therapy and technology scientists. The company’s SaaS model of fully automated and patented software generates personalized therapy programs to eliminate pain as an on-demand digital therapist.
We are looking for a Technology Officer / Technical Team Lead to take charge of their technology strategy and execution. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in a leadership position with the opportunity to shape the future of healthcare innovation.
Responsibilities
Technology Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and execute the technical vision to support business objectives.
- Discover and implement new technologies that give the company a competitive edge.
- Evaluate and recommend technology partnerships, platforms, and infrastructure enhancements.
Team & Operations
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing engineering and IT team.
- Supervise system architecture, infrastructure, and engineering workflows to ensure scalability and reliability.
- Promote best practices in coding, design, and system security.
Governance & Performance
- Oversee quality assurance, data protection, and compliance processes.
- Monitor KPIs, technical debt, and IT budgets to measure performance and ROI.
- Establish operational standards and documentation protocols.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate across departments to align technology with business needs.
- Communicate technical strategy and performance to executive leadership, stakeholders, and investors.
- Incorporate feedback from customers, partners, and internal users to inform product and platform improvements.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a senior technical leadership or team lead role.
- Strong knowledge of current and emerging technologies relevant to SaaS, cloud computing, and healthcare compliance.
- Demonstrated ability to create technology strategies that drive growth and scalability.
- Solid understanding of business planning, budgeting, and performance metrics.
- Experience with infrastructure, data security, and regulatory compliance (e.g., HIPAA, SOC 2) is a plus.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on, problem-solving mindset.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- MBA or equivalent business/technical graduate degree preferred.
- Experience in healthcare tech or regulated industries strongly preferred.
