Sales Executive

Position:
We are looking for a seasoned sales executive who has experience selling into GPOs and also leading others, to execute a sales strategy in the acute care market selling a novel patented toilet lift product. This revolutionary product restores risk, safety, dignity, and independence for people who struggle with Activities of Daily Living — while also meaningfully reducing injury risk for caregivers/healthcare staff, given the high incidence of toilet seat “falls” and the associated costs.
In this role you will have a key role selling and manage both 1099 and distributor reps . Additionally you will develop and execute a strategy to scale the company to 200 institutions over the next 3 years.
This sales leader will own the national commercial effort and scale the first product to the U.S. market and beyond.

This sales leader will own the national commercial effort and scale the first product to the U.S. market and beyond.
What You’ll Own:
- Full responsibility for Company’s U.S. commercial revenue strategy AND executio
- Total Revenue Ownership: You will manage the full sales cycle—from top of funnel prospecting, lead development, initial outreach, presentations, to negotiation and contracting execution, adoption, and upselling
- Commercial Revenue and Strategy: prospecting and signing on distributors and rep groups as well as hiring 2-4 salespeople to manage over the next 18 months
Requirements
- 10+ years of U.S. acute care, DME, or mobility sales performance scaling to millions in revenue. With 3+ years of formal leadership or managerial experience
- Location – Northeast Hybrid:
- Limited, but in office (Milford, CT) presence weekly/biweekly cadence.
- National Travel: Heavy to tradeshows, demo opportunities, sales closing, reps/distributors
- Proven “Zero-to-One” Success: Demonstrated ability to build a sales function from scratch or lead a successful national product launch within a venture-backed or high-growth environment.
- Strategic Team Building: Experience recruiting, onboarding, and managing high-performing sales reps or independent distributor networks (specifically managing 1099 or W-2 teams).
- Executive Presence & Network: Must possess an active, “warm” rolodex of senior clinical, operational, and C-suite acute care purchasing leaders in the Northeast and nationally.
- Competency Checklist: Mastery in:
- Complex contract negotiation and GPO/IDN navigation.
- HubSpot CRM hygiene, forecasting, and lead gen automation
- Data-driven revenue forecasting and reporting to CEO & Board of Directors
- Able to lift 50 lb. product & demo stand and travel around the country/northeast
- Startup Mentality: You will roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty. You must be Hungry and capable of being independent. We are looking for a player/coach who will build an organization. Door knocker.
Compensation
- Uncapped commission (10–12%) tied directly to revenue
- Earnings Potential: $250,000+, with significant upside
- Meaningful equity ownership granted at pre-growth valuation prior to sales explosion
