Our client is a well-funded, transnational SaaS clinical data management solutions innovator. They have an immediate need for a US-based, results-oriented Sales Representative to join their commercial team. This person will specialize in selling cutting-edge Clinical Study Management Software (CTMS) to the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, and contract research organization (CRO) industries.
This is a fully remote position though there is a preference to consider qualified candidates who live near any major US airport.
Key responsibilities:
- Identifying and researching potential clients within the target markets
- Developing and executing strategies to generate new leads and opportunities through various sales methods including outbound calls, emails, and networking
- Establishing and nurturing strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in clinical research teams (R&D, IT, clinical operations, etc.) within pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device companies, and CROs
- Attending industry events, conferences, and tradeshows to network and represent the company
- Negotiating deals and managing the sales pipeline to achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly quotas
- Ensuring sales activities comply with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures
Qualifications and skills
- BA/BS in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field; MBA is preferred
- 5+ years of proven experience in healthcare sales, pharmaceutical sales, medical device sales, or clinical research
- Experience selling with CTMS platforms and its applications, including Operational Insights, Clinical Insights, and Risk-Based Monitoring
- Thorough knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines, FDA, ICH regulations, and other applicable regulatory requirements for conducting clinical trials is essential
- Understanding of clinical trials or the drug development process and the sponsor persona/functions involved
- Willingness to travel throughout the United States as needed
