HealthCare Recruiters International (HCRI) is hiring a Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) to support the expansion of a new medical dermatology service within a mission-driven non-profit healthcare system. This outpatient clinic focuses on expanding access, continuity, and quality care for underserved populations, with providers practicing independently alongside an on-site primary care team. Carolina Beach, NC offers a coastal lifestyle with a laid-back beach community, while serving patients across New Hanover County with strong and growing demand for dermatology services.

Medical Dermatology NP / PA Responsibilities

• Provide medical dermatology care for patients across the lifespan

• See 25–30 patients per day in an outpatient clinic

• Diagnose and treat acne, eczema, psoriasis, rashes, infections, and lesions

• Perform biopsies, cryotherapy, and lesion removal

• Manage follow-ups (10–15 min) and new evaluations (~30 min)

• Work independently as the on-site dermatology provider

• Collaborate with PCPs on-site as needed

• Educate and treat an underserved patient population

• Document in Cloud-based EMR

Medical Dermatology NP / PA Requirements

• NP (FNP) or PA-C licensed in North Carolina

• Minimum 1 year of medical dermatology experience as a provider (REQUIRED)

• Experience must be as NP or PA-C, not RN, MA, or scribe

• Comfortable managing a full patient load independently

• Strong procedural and diagnostic skills

• Able to hit the ground running in a fast-paced clinic

Medical Dermatology NP / PA Compensation

• Starting at $160K+ (higher based on experience)

• Productivity bonus (negotiable structure)
