Staff Software Engineer (C++/Python)

Our client is leading the way on incisionless surgery by making it the new standard of interventional care.
Responsibilities:
- Own software deliverables as needed to enable solutions for incisionless surgery.
- Definition of Software architecture as required by design control standard operating procedures.
- Implementation of the Software application architecture for robot, imaging & treatment control systems.
- Participate in user studies and integrate relevant changes to the product.
- Support the design and implementation of automated testing frameworks that test the code at an interface level.
Job Qualifications.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related area.
- At least 5 years experience as a software developer in a ISO 62304 compliant software development environment with safety critical requirements.
- At least 3 years experience with building software in C++.
- At least 3 years experience with Python.
- Ability to work within an environment rich with unsolved science and technology challenges, and a dynamic team committed to changing the fundamentals of surgery.
