Advanced Practice Clinician (NP, PA, CNM) – Float Role
Location: St. Louis, MO (Metro Area, Multiple Clinics)
Schedule: Full-Time or Flexible (32–40 hours/week)
Compensation: $105,000 – $135,000 + Benefits + Mileage
Healthcare Recruiters International (HCRI) is partnering with a mission-driven reproductive healthcare organization to identify experienced Advanced Practice Clinicians for a high-impact float role across the St. Louis metro area.

Position Overview
The Float Advanced Practice Clinician will support multiple clinic locations within approximately a 30-mile radius of St. Louis, ensuring continuity of care and supporting clinical teams as needed.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing comprehensive women’s health and reproductive care
- Conducting patient assessments, exams, and treatment planning
- Supporting clinic coverage during PTO, leave, or staffing gaps
- Mentoring and supporting less experienced clinicians
- Maintaining timely and accurate clinical documentation
- Delivering patient-centered care in a collaborative environment
This role may involve rotating between clinics or being assigned to one site for a defined period based on coverage needs.
Schedule
- Clinic hours typically 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- One late shift per week (approximately 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
- 1–2 Saturdays per month (typically 1)
- No on-call or overnight requirements
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $105,000 – $135,000 (based on experience)
- Health, dental, and vision insurance (employer covers approximately 85%)
- 401k with 6% employer match
- Mileage reimbursement for travel outside assigned home clinic
Time Off:
- 10 days PTO (accrued)
- 7 additional “Care for You” days (flexible use)
- 5 sick days
- 11 paid holidays
Required Credentials and Qualifications
Candidates must meet all of the following:
- Active, unrestricted license in Missouri (or ability to obtain) as one of the following:
- – Nurse Practitioner (NP, FNP, WHNP, or related)– Physician Assistant (PA-C)– Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM)
- Board certification in respective discipline (AANP, ANCC, NCC, or NCCPA as applicable)
- Current DEA license or ability to obtain
- BLS certification (ACLS preferred, if applicable)Preferred Experience
- 3–5+ years of clinical experience
- Women’s health, OB-GYN, reproductive health, or labor and delivery experience strongly preferred
- Experience in outpatient or community health settings
- Comfortable working across multiple clinic locations
- Interest in mentorship or leadership development
