Healthcare Recruiters International is partnering with a growing behavioral health organization seeking a Behavioral Health Case Manager to support women in a residential substance use and mental health treatment program in Northwest Ohio.
This role is ideal for someone passionate about recovery, advocacy, care coordination, and helping individuals successfully transition toward long-term stability and independence.
We are seeking professionals with experience in behavioral health, addiction treatment, social services, residential treatment, case management, or community mental health settings.

What You’ll Be Doing
-
Manage an active caseload within a women’s residential treatment program
-
Coordinate medical, psychiatric, legal, employment, housing, and social service appointments
-
Connect clients with community resources and recovery supports
-
Assist with discharge planning and transition services
-
Support clients with independent living skills and recovery-focused goals
-
Monitor ongoing client needs, treatment progress, and barriers to care

Collaborate with counselors, nurses, medical providers, and treatment staff
-
Conduct crisis intervention and client advocacy as needed
-
Educate clients on mental health, addiction recovery, relapse prevention, and community supports
-
Maintain timely documentation, treatment records, and billing documentation
-
Participate in treatment team meetings, case conferences, and staff trainings
-
Conduct drug screenings according to program policies

Assist with transportation coordination and community appointments when necessary

Safely transport clients using agency vehicles when needed
Qualifications
Required
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Human Services, or related field

Ohio behavioral health credential or license including:
-
LSW
-
LCDC-II
-
CDCA
-
-
Valid driver’s license with insurable driving record

Ability to pass background and drug screening requirements

Must be at least 21 years old
Preferred
-
Experience working in behavioral health, substance use treatment, residential treatment, or community mental health
-
Experience working with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders
-
Knowledge of community resources, recovery supports, crisis intervention, and discharge planning
-
Experience with CARF and OhioMHAS standards
