HealthCare Recruiters International (HCRI) is hiring a Clinical Nurse Specialist, CNS to support NICU and Pediatrics at a well-respected acute care facility on California’s Central Coast. This full-time role is based in a region known for its natural beauty, just a short drive from Monterey, Santa Cruz, Carmel-by-the-Sea, and Big Sur. CNS – NICU & Pediatrics Responsibilities

Full-time, 40 hours per week

Provide advanced nursing care to NICU and pediatric patients

Coach and support nursing staff on both units

Lead trainings, in-services, and clinical education

Consult on patient care and complex clinical cases

Help shape protocols and performance improvement initiatives

Participate in rounds and interdisciplinary meetings

Support integration of evidence-based practices and current research
CNS – NICU & Pediatrics Requirements

Master’s in Nursing with CNS certification (or eligible)

Current California RN license (or ability to obtain)

2+ years of NICU or pediatric clinical experience

Confident educator and collaborative communicator

Able to pass pre-employment physical and DOJ background check

Willing to cover occasional weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts
