HealthCare Recruiters International (HCRI) is currently seeking a Nurse Practitioner, NP, FNP, ANP, AGNP to join a well-established and accredited ambulatory care team dedicated to treating kidney disease. New graduates with Nephrology and Licensed Nurse Practitioner’s with an interest in Nephrology are encouraged to apply and will receive extensive training.
Nephrology Nurse Practitioner Responsibilities – Tasks may include, but not limited to:
- Work M – F, 8-hour shift
- Conduct comprehensive physical assessments and formulate plans of care, while keeping in close communication with the primary nephrologist
- Support and participate in quality assessment and performance improvement management, resulting in improved patient outcomes
- Ensuring complete and accurate documentation of patient information and treatments for patient charts and medical records
- Providing detailed information to patients regarding treatments, possible side effects, aftercare instructions, aftercare maintenance, or preventative care methods
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, referrals to other specialists, and order and teach patients about medically prescribed diets and fluid restrictions
- Initiating health care treatment for health care management, therapeutic interventions, and prescribing medication
- Support patients who are waiting for or who have received kidney
Nephrology Nurse Practitioner Requirements:
- Registered nurse preparation and Nurse Practitioner certification are required
- Must have possession of a valid California license as a Registered Nurse and a Nurse Practitioner
- A current DEA license for California
- BLS Certified (ACLS Optional)
Nephrology Nurse Practitioner Compensation:
- 150,000 – 180,000 DEO
