Healthcare Recruiters International is partnering with a growing behavioral health practice in the Toms River area seeking a Neuropsychologist, Psychologist, or Psychiatrist to join a multidisciplinary, collaborative clinical team.
This role offers a unique blend of neuropsychological assessment, outpatient therapy, and consultative services across outpatient and rehabilitation settings.

Your Role & Impact
• Conduct comprehensive neuropsychological and/or psychiatric evaluations
• Interpret findings and provide clear diagnostic and treatment recommendations
• Deliver psychotherapy services when applicable
• Support patients in achieving functional and clinical outcomes
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams across outpatient and rehabilitation settings
Practice Locations
• Toms River
• Freehold
• Manahawkin
• Galloway
• Neuropsychologists typically rotate between 3–4 locations
• Schedules are organized in advance to support efficiency and minimize unnecessary travel
Responsibilities
• Conduct cognitive, psychological, and/or psychiatric evaluations
• Complete detailed clinical reports and documentation
• Provide therapy services when appropriate
• Collaborate with medical and behavioral health professionals
• Participate in ongoing professional development
Qualifications
• Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Psychology or MD/DO in Psychiatry
• Active New Jersey license required
• 1–3 years of clinical experience preferred
• Experience with ADHD, neurodevelopmental disorders, and cognitive assessments preferred
• Strong diagnostic, communication, and documentation skills
Role-Specific Focus
• Neuropsychologist: Comprehensive cognitive and neuropsychological evaluations
• Psychologist: May receive additional training in neuropsychological assessment
• Psychiatrist: Psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and medication management
Compensation & Benefits
