HealthCare Recruiters International (HCRI) is hiring a Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) for a full-time primary care role within a Federally Qualified Health Center serving a rural, underserved population. This site offers strong support, consistent volume, and the opportunity to build long-term patient relationships within the community.
Primary Care NP / PA Responsibilities
- Full-time schedule based on clinic hours
- 5x8s or 4x10s depending on site needs
- No call; after-hours handled externally
- Provide full-scope primary care across the lifespan
- Manage annual visits, chronic conditions, and sick visits
- Average ~16 patients per day
- High performers see up to 25 patients/day
- Follow structured visit model with standard and extended visits
- Review labs, imaging, and follow-ups daily
- Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation
- Work with dedicated MA or LVN support
- Refer patients to specialists as clinically appropriate
- Participate in outreach and preventive health initiatives
- Perform procedures based on skill set
Primary Care NP / PA Requirements
- Active FNP or PA-C license (or ability to obtain in NC)
- Primary care or family practice experience preferred
- Comfortable treating patients across the lifespan
- Able to manage consistent daily patient volume
- Interest in Community Health Center
Primary Care NP / PA Compensation
- Base Salary: $105K–$110K
- $20 per encounter after 210 encounters per month
- Threshold ~10 patients per day
- Bonus paid monthly
- ~$30K+ at 16 patients/day
- ~$50K+ at 20 patients/day
- ~$75K+ at 25 patients/day
- NHSC Loan Repayment eligible ($75K over 2 years, tax-free)
