HealthCare Recruiters International (HCRI) is seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OTR/L, OT) for a unique travel-to-remote role with a boutique pediatric clinic in Wasilla, AK. The position starts with a 12-week on-site contract and transitions into a remote caseload with patients you’ve already treated in person. The clinic offers high-impact, full-spectrum care for patients from infancy through young adulthood and includes a multidisciplinary team, relocation support, and the opportunity to maintain continuity of care post-assignment.

Pediatric OT, OTR/L Travel + Remote Responsibilities:

• Work On-Site Monday–Thursday (7:00–6:00 two days, 7:00–5:00 two days); Fridays OFF
• Treat patients ages infant–23 with sensory, neurodevelopmental, and complex physical conditions
• Build strong clinical relationships during 12-week onsite assignment
• Transition into a remote caseload with established patients after contract ends
• Common diagnoses include autism, ADHD, fetal alcohol syndrome, genetic disorders, and sensory integration challenges
• Collaborate with in-house PTs, SLPs, mental health clinicians, and education specialists
• Participate in documentation training, mentorship, and team communication
• Work with a dedicated onboarding partner (DPT mentor) and ongoing clinical leadership

Pediatric OT, OTR/L Travel + Remote Requirements:

• Licensed Occupational Therapist (OTR/L or OT)
• Eligible or active Alaska licensure (licensure paid by employer)
• Willing to temporarily relocate to Wasilla, AK (99654) for 12 weeks
• Experience with pediatric and/or neurodiverse populations
• Strong documentation, communication, and treatment planning skills
• Comfortable with remote care and continuity of service delivery after onsite care ends

Pediatric OT, OTR/L Travel + Remote Compensation:

• Hourly onsite rate $60–$65/hr
• Post-contract remote caseload paid as a percentage of collected billing
• Free housing and vehicle provided during 12-week contract (est. value $5,500/month)
• Flight to Alaska and licensure expenses covered
• No PTO or benefits during 1099 travel contract
• Opportunity to extend or convert to long-term W2 role after initial term
