HealthCare Recruiters International (HCRI) is hiring a fully licensed Mental Health Therapist to provide remote outpatient services across the lifespan. This is a true community mental health role supporting individuals with a range of behavioral health needs, including dual diagnosis, substance use, trauma, and mood disorders.
This position is best suited for clinicians who are comfortable working independently in a fully remote setting while maintaining strong client engagement, accountability, and follow-up.
Remote Mental Health Therapist Responsibilities
• Provide individual therapy via telehealth to children, adolescents, and adults
• Manage a range of cases including mental health, substance use, and co-occurring disorders
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
• Proactively follow up with clients, including outreach after cancellations or missed sessions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members as needed for coordinated care
• Participate in team meetings and clinical case reviews
Remote Mental Health Therapist Requirements
• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage & Family Therapy
• Active, independent New Mexico license (LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT required)
• Ability to work autonomously in a fully remote setting
• Experience in community mental health and/or dual diagnosis populations preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and client engagement skills
• Reliable internet and private workspace for telehealth
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred, not required
Remote Mental Health Therapist Compensation
• $83,200–$108,160 annual salary based on experience
• Salaried role, not productivity-penalized for cancellations or no-shows
