HealthCare Recruiters International (HCRI) is currently seeking a experienced Behavioral Health Office Coordinator to support a structured, forensic outpatient program serving justice-involved individuals. This is a full-time, on-site role supporting clinical operations, compliance, and front-office coordination across program sites.

This position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, compliance-driven behavioral health setting.

Behavioral Health Office Coordinator Schedule and Work Model
• Monday through Saturday availability (program operates primarily 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM as needed)
• Schedule will not exceed 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week
• Locations may include Salinas, CA or Capitola, CA; with one office as home base

Behavioral Health Office Coordinator Responsibilities
• Manage front office operations including client check-in, scheduling, and daily workflow coordination
• Process intake paperwork and maintain accurate records within EHR systems
• Serve as primary point of contact for clients, clinicians, and external partners (probation, parole, court systems)
• Support compliance tracking including documentation, urinalysis coordination, and audit preparation
• Coordinate clinician schedules, group rosters, and attendance tracking
• Assist with administrative functions including payments, client statements, and reporting
• Maintain organized digital and physical records in compliance with HIPAA and program standards
• Support overall clinic operations and escalate issues as needed

Behavioral Health Office Coordinator Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum 2 years of administrative, office coordination, or client-facing experience
• Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or criminal justice settings preferred
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace
• Experience with EHR systems preferred
• Ability to pass DOJ/FBI background check and hold a valid California driver’s license
