HealthCare Recruiters International (HCRI) is currently seeking Licensed Clinical Psychologists, Psychologists licensed at the PhD or PsyD level, for a fully remote 1099 opportunity focused exclusively on adult autism diagnostic evaluations.

This is not a traditional high-volume therapy role.

Psychologists in this position focus on structured diagnostic assessment work within a highly organized, neurodiversity-affirming model designed for clinicians who enjoy diagnostic clarification, differential diagnosis, clinical interviewing, and adult autism evaluation.

The organization provides assigned assessments, structured workflows, streamlined documentation systems, and dedicated onboarding support, allowing psychologists to focus more heavily on clinical work rather than insurance management, therapy productivity requirements, or private practice business development.

Licensed Clinical Psychologist, PhD, PsyD Responsibilities:

  • Conduct fully remote adult autism diagnostic evaluations
  • Flexible scheduling OPTIONS between 7 AM – 10 PM based on preferred availability
  • Complete Session 1 focused on biopsychosocial history, developmental history, clinical presentation, masking patterns, and overall functioning
  • Complete Session 2 focused on autism diagnostic categories, differential diagnosis, symptom clarification, co-occurring presentations, and clinical assessment interpretation
  • Conduct a final feedback session reviewing diagnostic findings, recommendations, and results with clients
  • Review pre-collected self-report measures and collateral information from references prior to assessment sessions
  • Evaluate nuanced adult presentations including late diagnosis, ADHD overlap, executive functioning concerns, and complex social-emotional presentation
  • Complete structured diagnostic reports within a streamlined documentation model
  • Work within a collaborative neurodiversity-affirming assessment philosophy focused on strengths-based care
  • Utilize proprietary assessment and workflow systems designed specifically for virtual autism evaluations
  • Collaborate remotely with psychology leadership and clinical teams

Licensed Clinical Psychologist, PhD, PsyD Schedule & Compensation:

  • $550 per completed assessment
  • Approximately 6 total hours per completed case
  • Additional $50 compensation for no-shows and late cancellations
  • Assigned assessments provided directly to psychologists
  • No requirement to source or market for clients
  • Flexible remote scheduling
  • Minimum preferred availability of approximately 3 assessments weekly
  • Structured assessment model includes two 90-minute clinical interview sessions
  • One 45-minute feedback/results session, and approximately 3 hours reserved for report writing

Licensed Clinical Psychologist, PhD, PsyD Requirements:

  • Active Psychologist license at the PhD or PsyD level
  • Licensed in at least one active company state
  • PSYPACT preferred, not required
  • Strong diagnostic interviewing and assessment skills
  • Experience with autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, neurodivergent populations, or psychological assessment preferred
  • Comfortable working within a fully remote telehealth environment
  • Strong documentation, organization, and communication skills
