HealthCare Recruiters International (HCRI) hiring a Radiologic Technologist – CT Tech for a full-time evening or overnight hospital-based role in Monterey County, California. This is a permanent position with County retirement, HRSA loan forgiveness eligibility, and a $15,000 sign-on bonus. Candidates must be licensed in California, able to perform diagnostic X-rays, and either ARRT CT certified or open to pursuing certification. New grads welcome.
CT Tech Responsibilities:

Perform routine and advanced CT scans and diagnostic X-rays per physician orders

Prepare and position patients with attention to safety, comfort, and image quality

Adjust scanner settings and shielding to ensure optimal image quality

Document patient info and imaging data in internal systems

Assist radiologists with fluoroscopy and other specialty procedures

Maintain CT and X-ray equipment, perform quality control tasks, and report service needs

Adhere to infection control, radiation safety, and departmental protocols

Communicate clearly with patients, families, and care teams

Participate in hospital education, QA/QI programs, and CEU activities
CT Tech Requirements:

Active California Radiologic Technologist license (CDPH) – required

ARRT certification in Radiography (RT(R)) – required

ARRT certification in CT (RT(R)(CT)) – strongly preferred (required to receive 8% bonus rate)

1+ year acute care experience preferred, including CT and fluoroscopy

Familiarity with MRI, DEXA, or mammography is a plus
-
Must pass DOJ background check and pre-employment health screening

Must be available for evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays
CT Tech Compensation & Benefits:

$50.23 – $68.61/hr | $8,708 – $11,893/month | $104,496 – $142,716/year (base)

$54.25 – $74.10/hr | $9,405 – $12,844/month | $112,860 – $154,128/year (with ARRT CT certification)
