Get certified in Wound Care !! Excellent opportunity for a seasoned Nurse Practitioner to join a solid medical group. This medical practice seeks a Nurse Practitioner who can treat patients and assist as we build our new program which is now in full swing! This is an excellent opportunity to treat and learn advanced care methods in wound care to include the amniotic membrane patch. We are building and will support an NP who seeks to join our team. Role is for 20 hours a week and can easily become 40-hours week should you chose to work more hours. We offer flexible schedule, full medical benefits, 401(k) and an amazing team.
Flex schedule, morning or afternoon part-time 20 hours, choice of days following initial training. Workday includes time travel to skilled nursing and assisted living facilities treating wound care patients. Nurse Practitioner delivers comprehensive, wound assessments and develops treatment plan. Implements wound care therapies, to include amniotic membrane patch, monitor patient’s response to treatment, and adjust treatments, as necessary. Documents all treatment and care provided accurately and thoroughly in electronic medical records.
Requires; Active unrestricted, Massachusetts NP (Nurse Practitioner) license. Wound care experience needed but will certify in Wound Care, WOCN certification a plus minimum of 1 year experience treating patient wound care. Proficiency in electronic medical records systems needed. Good communication skills, patient care, and team collaboration skills a must. Facilities are located Southeast (one hour) & Northeastern (twenty-five minutes) from main clinic located in Central, MA. NP travels to sites from their home location independently following training period.
Compensation up to 75 dollars an hour, based on experience. Patient population and program is growing, we offer 20 hours a week to start with flexible scheduling. Travel time accounted for and mileage reimbursement. Continued education and additional training in wound care is offered. Location, facilities located NE and SE from Central Mass. Patient scheduling is well coordinated to provide flexibility to Nurse Practitioner’s schedule.
